Full Stack Developer

Biz-Zone is looking for a talented programmer to help us build and deliver web-based software using very modern architecture.

We are an 18-year old company that is rapidly expanding our core software products and are a quickly evolving company. We welcome input and ideas from our staff and look for people who are independent thinkers.

Does This Sound Like You?

You are extremely comfortable with object oriented programming and MVC frameworks
You understand software design patterns, such as the command or observer pattern
You are very comfortable with native JavaScript, CSS and Bootstrap 3.0
Typescript and web sockets knowledge are not necessary, but a plus
You have good code management practices, Git is mandatory and ideally have experience with Composer
Strength in UX is an asset, but the most important skills will be your proven back-end development skills

Job responsibilities

Deploy web software
Develop back-end software packages
Learn to write large import scripts and conduct data conversions
Support existing software installations

Job qualification + requirements

Computer Science degree (BSc.) or equivalent
3+ years' experience with OO development in a LAMP environment (PHP, MySQL)
Strong experience with Linux / terminal
Working experience with Symphony, Node.js, APIs and TDD an asset
Strong candidates with C*/ASP.net experience and a willingness to learn PHP will be considered
